Product Overview

The NetClock/GPS Model 9283 is ideally suited for delivering worldwide, split-second timing to mission critical systems. It features enhanced reliability features, including optional oven-stabilized crystal oscillators (OCXO) and Rubidium oscillators to maintain timing if the GPS reference is lost. An optional dial-out modem provides back-up to GPS or functions as the primary reference, such as for disaster recovery. The Model 9283 uses an embedded Linux v2.6 operating system and a high-speed processor. It automatically tracks up to twelve GPS satellites simultaneously and provides extremely accurate timing by synchronizing to the satellites’ atomic clocks. A variety of time code outputs are included to meet the requirements of numerous systems: a 10/100 Base-T LAN port, two RS-232 serial ports, two RS-485 data bus ports, IRIG B/E AM/TTL, and frequency outputs of 1 PPS and 10 MHz. Alarm outputs and programmable timer outputs are also provided. Enhanced security features, ensure operational integrity and can be enabled or disabled. These include Secure Shell (SSH), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), Secure Copy Protocol (SCP), Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), and SNMP v1, v2, and v3 with host access restriction.
