Product Overview
The Spectracom NetClock/2 is the world standard in master clocks, and this model provides more features and capabilities than ever before, including full conformance with the new NENA 04-002 PSAP Master Clock Standard.
NetClock/2 receives legally traceable time signals from WWVB, the 60-kHz time and frequency standard radio station maintained by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). These signals, based on atomic time standards that are accurate, allow the NetClock/2 to distribute consistent, legally traceable time throughout your system.
Outputs available from NetClock/2 include an RS-232 serial port, RS-485 data bus port, IRIG B or E and TTL, a 1 PPS frequency output, and an alarm output. The instrument is compatible with a wide range of equipment, including voice recorders, ANI/ALI, radio consoles, computer-aided dispatch systems, audible and visual time announcement devices, and others.
Other features include easy adaptability to standard rack mount, built-in battery backup, and high visibility front panel LED time display.

RS-232 and RS-485 ports can be set up to output time code data format 0, 1 or 2. Baud rates and 300 to 9600, 8N1. Contact Sales Department for full description of time code formats.
The two IRIG outputs are AM and TTL. They are configurable to format B at 1000 Hz, E at 100 Hz and can be set to operate with or without signature control. AM output is adjustable 0 to 10 V into 600 ohms. IRIG time codes follow Daylight Saving Time rule if enabled.
Alarm output, contact closure, for "Loss of Time Sync" and "Power Loss".
Set up Switches: Format, path delay, time zone, automatic Daylight Saving, baud rate, manual set disable, 12 or 24-hour display.
AGC (Automatic Gain Control) outputs on the rear panel are used during installation to aim the antenna, and monitor relative WWVB signal strength.
