The patented Spectracom Ageless Master Oscillators are highly accurate frequency and timing sources. Outputs are locked to the United States Naval Observatory via the NAVSTAR Global Positioning System (GPS). T-RAIM (Time Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitor) algorithm detects and disqualifies faulty satellites to maintain the reliability of system outputs. Spectracom's field-proven Ageless Oscillator technology provides continual automatic frequency control, compensating for aging and temperature drift.
They are ideally suited as a site master oscillator for communication systems. Typical applications include calibration, narrow band land mobile radio, paging simulcast, satellite/microwave communication links and broadcast radio and television.
8195B and 8197B models offer a precision frequency offset feature to minimize carrier phase cancellation in overlap areas. And a CTCSS generator outputs are aligned site to site for simulcast systems.
An optional battery is offered to maintain the oscillator at its operational temperature if AC power fails thereby reducing the recovery period by eliminating oscillator warm-up and retrace. In addition, the battery keeps the electronics in standby mode to allow rapid recovery of the GPS 1PPS, Data Clock and Data Sync outputs once power is restored.

- The 8194B is a cost-effective solution for calibration, manufacturing test, and frequency control applications, it features an OCXO internal quartz oscillator.
- The 8195Badds several features and optional outputs to the 8194B including T1 & E1 timing outputs, optional CTCSS outputs for radio systems, internal distribution amp option, and additional 1PPS outputs.
- The 8197B offers the same features as the 8195B, but includes a Rubidium atomic clock as its internal clock for long holdover accuracy.
