Reaching Globally

In 2007, Spectracom become part of the Orolia Group, (NYSE Alternext Paris – FR0010501015 – ALORO) a high-technology group specializing in precise Positioning, Navigation and Timing, and combined its Rochester, NY USA operations with Temex Sync of Les Ulis, France (near Paris) under the Spectracom brand.  Since then, Rapco Electronics of Basingstoke, UK (near London) and the products of Pendulum Instruments formerly of Bromma, Sweden (near Stockholm), a spin-off of the T&M division of Philips, has joined the global Spectracom organization. As a multi-domestic organization, Spectracom continues its heritage of strong local customer service with an expanded technology and product portfolio that truly has a global reach.

Many of our products leverage global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) such as GPS signals in conjunction with other timing technologies to ensure accurate and reliable time and frequency where you need it. We have brought the concept of Legally Traceable Time® to tens of thousands of users and we support an equal number of operators of mission-critical communications networks throughout enterprises, broadcast networks, and for local and federal government as well as for military forces. Our expertise extends to next-generation networking standards, security and management tools, wireless networks, and critical data distribution. Recently, the Pendulum brand of time and frequency test and measurement instruments, became part of the Spectracom portfolio with instruments for accurate time and frequency generation and analysis of time and frequency signals.
