A New Satellite Communications System to be Synchronized by Spectracom

A master clock and signal distribution system enables reliable communications for field operations of a major international organization
ROCHESTER, NEW YORK and LES ULIS, FRANCE — Spectracom, a company of the Orolia Group (NYSE Alternext Paris – FR0010501015 – ALORO), has been selected by Globecomm Systems to supply key network synchronization subsystems for its new satellite communications system for a major international organization. With a contract value of $500,000, Spectracom’s time and frequency reference system solution consists of its proven NetClock® master clock platform and Epsilon™ signal distribution platform to generate and distribute a variety of timing signals for satellite ground terminals.

Deliveries of Spectracom’s time and frequency system will begin in the second quarter of 2009 and continue throughout the year.
