Troubleshooting

The following section contains information to help determine why a UNIX PC is not time synchronizing correctly. This information is to be used as a general guideline to assist with troubleshooting. Technical assistance from Spectracom or Internet newsgroups may be required to isolate the problem. The information will help you identify whether the problem is due to Spectracom equipment or with the UNIX client software.



Using a UNIX PC to verify the time stamp from the Time Server is present and the Time Server is synchronized to its reference
