Resources and Technical Support for NTP4
Note: Technical support from Spectracom is only available for the operation of the Spectracom Time Server or Master Clock and the interfacing between the Spectracom equipment and the PC. Technical support from Spectracom for the client software running on the UNIX PC is limited to just the interfacing of the Time Server / Master Clock to the PC and is not available for the client software installation or operation.
The primary sources of assistance for NTP users are the NTP documentation, the NTP newsgroup and the NTP FAQ. The development mailing lists are not for end-user support. Please use direct email as a last resort.
Using the terminal emulator screen, you should see a line on your screen every second that looks similar to one of the two samples below (depends on selected Data Format from the Time Server or Master Clock).
The NTP newsgroup can be of particular assistance. Post a message requesting assistance or specific questions you may have. Others who have used or are using the program can respond to your request.
