Windows Event Viewer

The Windows Event Viewer can be a source of great troubleshooting assistance with time synchronization problems. Refer to the System log for W32Time entries. These entries often point you in the right direction to determine the reason why a PC is not synchronizing. To access the Event Viewer, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools. Click on Event Viewer. In the left pane, click on System. Scroll through the entries for any W32Time entries in the Source column. Double-click on this event to open the Event Detail. The Event Detail will provide a reason for the entry in the Event Viewer log.
