NetClock Master Clock ASCII Time Code Data Formats
ASCII time codes facilitate time synchronization via serial communications. They typically offer higher accuracy than what can be achieved by network time protocol ( NTP ) over a LAN. Spectracom time servers and master clocks offer several serial time codes.
