Using HyperTerminal to Verify Operation of a Spectracom Master Clock, Time Server or Frequency Reference

Most Spectracom products have a setup port to configure selectable parameters and retrieve operational status and performance logs. This integration guide describes how to connect a computer to a Spectracom master clock, time server or frequency reference and verify operation of the setup com port with a terminal emulator program called HyperTerminal that is included with Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP.
