Product Overview
The GPS Antenna Splitter, Model 8224 is designed for use with an existing antenna/cable setup. It eliminates the need and expense for a second antenna/cable run when two synchronization systems are desirable. The Antenna Splitter can be used with either the GPS Outdoor Antenna, Model 8225 or GPS Window Mount Antenna, Model 8228. It is a 1:2 splitter (1 input, 2 output) so that a NetClock® Master Clock can share one antenna with another device such as a frequency oscillator/simulcast system.
The power divider is designed for the GPS L1 carrier frequency. One output is DC-blocked to prevent antenna damage. The GPS Antenna Splitter also has a 200 ohm DC load to ground to simulate a GPS antenna pre-amp current draw. The second output leg is a DC pass-through to power the antenna.
