Introduction

Spectracom NetClock® products are GPS-based, Network Time Protocol (NTP) time servers or master clocks. NetClocks typically provide timing services to various networking devices. To provide another source of Legally Traceable Time®, NetClock products also support dial-out modem capability.

Dial-Out Modem (Option 03)

While GPS satellites are the most accurate time source widely available for applications including network time synchronization, NetClock products also offer a dial-out modem option for those rare occurrences when the GPS signal is lost or otherwise unavailable. Option 03, Modem, is available for the Model 9283 and the Model 9289.
