Antennas

Spectracom offers a wide variety of reliable GPS antennas and related accessories for NetClock, Ageless Oscillator and Epsilon Clock products. Available products include an outdoor antenna and a convenient indoor, window-mount, antenna for its GPS-based products, along with a variety of accessories to get the most out of your installation. An inline preamplifier extends cable length between the antenna and device. A splitter is available to eliminate the need and expense for a second antenna/cable run when two synchronization systems are desirable. We highly recommend a surge supressor/protector to protect the receiver and connected devices from lightning damage. A WWVB antenna system is available as a replacement for the NetClock/2.

• 8213 Antenna Mount
  

  GPS Antenna Mount for Flat Roof, mounts 8225 antenna on flat roof, includes sand ballast

• 8224 GPS Antenna Splitter
  

  The GPS Antenna Splitter, Model 8224 is designed for use with an existing antenna/cable setup. It eliminates the need and expense for a second antenna/cable run when two synchronization systems are desirable.

• 8225 GPS Antenna
  

  GPS Outdoor Antenna, with vent pipe mount. Compatible with CAL7XXX or CALP7XXX cable.

• 8226 GPS Antenna Surge Protector
  

  GPS Surge Protector shunts potentially damaging voltages on antenna coax to ground, recommended. Compatible with 8225 antenna and CAL7XXX or CALP7XXX cable.

• 8227 GPS Antenna Preamplifier
  

  A GPS Antenna Preamplifier is required whenever the total coax cable length is greather than approximately 300 ft. Compatible with 8225 antenna and CAL7XXX cable.

• 8228 GPS Indoor Window Mount Antenna
  

  The GPS Indoor Window Mount Antenna, Model 8228 is an active GPS antenna tuned to receive the 1575.42 MHz L1 band satellite broadcasts. The received signals are passed through a narrow bandpass filter and a preamplifier within the antenna. The active antenna circuitry provides 28 dB of gain and requires +5 VDC at 20 milliamps. The GPS receiver provides power over the antenna coax.

  
  
  

  NetClock/2 WWVB Antenna System

  The Spectracom WWVB Antenna System is made up of the Loop Antenna, Model 8219, Antenna Preamplifier, Model 8207 and Surge Protector, Model MPO8455. The antenna system is designed to receive the 60 kHz time and frequency signal from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) located in Fort Collins, Colorado.
