Network-Centric Timing Appliance for Military Networks

New network deployments in the Aerospace and Defense industries require precision timing that enables secure, reliable and manageable network time synchronization. The new 9300 series is a network-centric appliance that meets all relevant mandates and specifications as required by the Department of Defense including SAASM GPS and IPv6. This new product builds upon the proven 9200 Series NetClock product platform to meet requirements for IPSec, IRIG timing, and UL, RoHS and CE compliance.
For the first time, the NetClock is available in a military-spec tested shock and vibration chassis. These features along with the NetClock’s superior reputation for reliability backed by a 5-year warranty, make the 9300 series a solution of choice for the DoD and their contractors to support their mission-critical applications.

Wireless Clock System for Simple and Reliable Clock Synchronization

The new NetClock® Wireless Clock System synchronizes clocks to official time with unprecedented simplicity and reliability. No more wondering which clock has the right time. Official time from a GPS-enabled master clock/time server is broadcast by a wireless transmitter using open frequency 900 MHz. No FCC license is required. Analog and digital clocks receive the time signal and rebroadcast to other clocks for a reliable wireless time mesh network without the need for multiple transmitters or an extremely high power signal.
The system offers the advantage of enterprise-wide synchronized time. It integrates display time with the entire network and facility infrastructure so you can be ensured of legally traceable time is used anywhere time is important: servers, workstations, routers, building automation, access control, video surveillance, time and attendance and much more.

Timing Board Upgrade
TPRO/TSAT-PCI-U Supports 66MHz bus speed

The PCI version of IRIG or GPS synchronized timing boards are now optimized to run at a 66 MHz bus speed with a 32-bit data interface that results in time reads on the order of one-millionth of a second. This product upgrade continues Spectracom's committment to precision timing for embedded computing environments. Previously, the timing boards were designed to support 3.3V and 5V universal signaling. Driver support is available for Linux, Windows, and Solaris. Other drivers are available upon request. Orders for this product can be delivered in one week or less.

Latest Generation Master Oscillators Announced

The new Ageless® family of GPS-based master oscillators offer application-specific features and options to accommodate a larger array of applications with even greater reliability. For example, these new master oscillators track up to twelve satellites simultaneously with T-RAIM integrity monitoring. Several industry-specific solutions are available for immediate shipment.
The model 8194B is an ideal frequency reference for systems requiring a precision 10 MHz or one pulse-per-second (PPS) signal for calibration applications. Unique integrated or external frequency reference distribution options provide the exact frequency signal at each workstation throughout a manufacturing or engineering/development center. The 8194B can also be used for improving the operation of narrow band mobile radio, satellite/microwave communication and HDTV systems. For more, click here.
The model 8195B adds specific features required for applications such as telecommunication network timing (T1/E1, SONET and ATM), simulcasting, and broadcast radio and television. For example, T1 and E1 timing outputs synchronize enterprise telecom systems to ensure reliability. For more, click here.
For mission critical applications, the model 8197B uses an internal Rubidium atomic standard that maintains the highest level of frequency accuracy and holdover even in the event of long-term loss of the GPS signal.

Spectracom Acquires Line Of TimeCode Reader/Generators and GPS Timing Boards
Spectracom has just acquired the KSI family of bus-level timing boards. KSI boards generate time stamps or standard time code outputs that are capable of being read and interpreted. Installed in PC’s, workstations and servers, bus-level timing boards stamp events such as computer log-ins, e-mail messaging and data transmissions. Additional uses include capturing video and audio data such as identifying times and sequences of video frames and voice data. Military applications involving communication time stamping and weaponry performance are also possible.Learn more about the KSI family of bus-level timing boards.

TimeView™ Wireless Digital and Analog Clocks
Spectracom Corporation has just released its new series of wireless digital and analog clocks. The new technology eliminates the need and expense of hard-wiring, a major benefit for renovation projects, and allows much greater flexibility in clock displacement. The new clocks can also be equipped with an “event alert” feature that enables the clocks to signal when specific events are taking place. Combined with a Spectracom NTP Time Server, all clocks can be synchronized and programmed with computer network systems to record precise time documentation to support project data and insurance or legal claims.
